Who you are buying from

Ledge is made and sold by the Ledge team. Contact: support@ledgeformac.com. Payments are handled by Polar as merchant of record; Polar collects and remits sales tax, issues the receipt, and its own terms apply to the transaction itself.

What you are buying

A one-time license to run Ledge on the number of Macs you paid for: one, two or three seats. The license does not expire. Updates within the 1.x line are included at no extra cost. Future major versions may be paid upgrades.

The download of the app is free; a valid license key is required to keep the panel running. Ledge requires an Apple Silicon Mac on macOS 14 Sonoma or later. The app is not yet notarized with Apple, so the first launch needs the Open Anyway step in System Settings → Privacy & Security; the download page walks through it.

How the license works

A license is personal to you. You can move a seat between your own Macs by opening Settings → License on the Mac you want to release and choosing Deactivate; that frees the seat for another activation.

Please do not share the key publicly, resell it, or work around the seat count. We may deactivate a key that is being distributed or used beyond the seats it was sold with.

Refunds

Seven days from purchase, no questions asked. Reply to your purchase receipt or write to support@ledgeformac.com and we will refund the order through Polar. The license is deactivated when the refund is processed.

What the app does and does not promise

Ledge reads from macOS and third-party services you configure, and shows you what it finds. It is a viewer, not a system of record. Do not rely on it as the only place your calendar, reminders, mail, clipboard or notes live; use the underlying apps and accounts for anything you need to keep.

Ledge is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the app or these terms is capped at the amount you paid for the license.

Acceptable use

Run Ledge on Macs you own or are authorized to use. Do not modify, reverse engineer, redistribute or attempt to derive the source of the app except where the law expressly allows. Do not use the app to break the law or the terms of a third-party service it connects to.

Disputes

If something goes wrong, write to support@ledgeformac.com first; almost everything is settled by a refund or a fix. Nothing in these terms limits the consumer rights you have where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new effective date. Your existing license keeps working under the version of the terms it was bought under for anything that has already happened; continuing to use the app after an update means accepting the current version going forward.
