Buying Ledge means agreeing to these. They are meant to be readable.
The license
Buying Ledge gives you a personal, non-exclusive licence to run it on the number of Macs you paid for: one, two or three seats. The licence does not expire, and updates are included. You may move a seat between machines by deactivating a Mac in Settings → License.
Please don’t share your key publicly, resell it, or try to work around the seat count. We may deactivate a key that is being distributed.
Downloading it
The download is free, and the app needs a licence key to run. Ledge requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later on Apple Silicon or Intel.
Refunds
Seven days from purchase, no questions asked. Reply to your purchase email or write to support@ledgeformac.com and we will refund it. The licence is deactivated when the refund goes through.
Payments
Purchases are handled by Polar, who act as merchant of record and are responsible for billing and tax. Their terms apply to the transaction itself.
Warranty and liability
Ledge is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It reads from macOS and shows you what it finds; it is not a system of record, and you should not rely on it as the only place your calendar, reminders or clipboard live. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid for the licence. [TODO: legal review for jurisdiction-specific warranty and liability limits.]
Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new date; your existing licence keeps working.
